An oil spill can happen anywhere in the world. oil is trasported all over the world either in truck,planes, or ships. oil is used all over the worled so people all over the world need it and since oil takes so long to make if we use it all now we won't have any for billions of years.

Many animals are affected by oil spills but the ones that are affected the most are the ones in the water like otters, fish, whales, birds, sharks, and plants on the sea bed. oil can kill alot of animals by poisening them, and fish or the animals don't have to eat it to be poisened by it in fact if a fish is covered in oil and another fish eats that fish then that fish will be poisened.in fact if a bird gets caught in an oil spill the bird will not beable to fly so it will try to clean its wings so it can fly and get poinened.
